A short but eye candy-filled update focused on the non-book stuff today folks. As the casts started coming in I rushed to the paint desk to bring on the atmosphere! Most of you have completed your bakerkit surveys (here's your first reminder to do so if you have not), and a hand full of you even added more minis! So for those expecting some plastic cannibals to arrive at their door this update is for you.
These shots are of the final casts so are the perfect way for you to see what you are getting, or be tempted into getting. Keep in mind that unless you backed at the painted tier all miniatures arrive unpainted, except the dice which all arrive fully finished. At some point soon after all of Smorgasborg is in your hands I will be releasing a full how-to-paint tutorial for free on every one of the minis to get them to the point you see in these photos.

Hey folks just a little deadline bump. I forgot it was a holiday this weekend, so my drive-thru rpg upload and backerkit review were slightly delayed. You should be seeing your pledge managers pop up over the next week or so, and I will be emailing The Critic pdf to you once that process is complete! That being said, that'll give you a little more time to vote on which extra game content you want pre-released so you can get to adding cannibals to your games NOW. As a reminder that is a backer-only bonus as a recognition of the delay in getting The Critic out to you. Your options are...

Hey cannibals, here's a tasty update full of eye candy and info.
First up is a video from our casters, Moddler. This is my first time using the siocast method over traditional resin casting so getting to see the whole process is an exciting blend of steps for me and I figured I'd share it with you! Though this shows off the Humanitarian, the other minis have been cast as well and all that's left is finishing up the last casts of the Ironchef which they are doing as I type this, then they are off to me! So no delays on that process.
Now the dice. Slight delay on these as the white resin we were using both had a high chance for miscasts and were way too light in weight leaving dice rolls unsatisfying. The experts at Moddler suggested a change and here's a little rough shot of some of the blank casts. Keep in mind once these are all cast up they will be painted, weathered, and glossed to get them as toothy as possible!
Next up is the promised preview encounter for The Critic! Players have the chance of running into this behemoth of flesh and flavor preferences and you better hope you satisfy his refined pallet! Keep in mind that this has been sent to my editor so it's subject to some final tweaks before print, but as it has already been delayed in getting to you I wanted to drop it ASAP.

Between the balancing of https://www.talesfromapocrypha.com/ both our miniature line, and the podcast. This book, and the next supplement we had conceived I knew that to keep the quality high, and the amount of time from Kickstarter to delivery short that this expansion was in order. So worry not folk, things will be going faster and smoother from here on and I cannot wait to first get our cannibal craziness into your hands, and for you to see what we come out with next. As always thanks for your support and excitement... you're in for a world of absurd horror goodness in the months to come.
Hey all!
I wanted to update everyone on the progress so far and the theme is scale creep. We've been working away at the book diligently since ending our Kickstarter but the addition of stretch goal content and editing pages for clarity (we received a lot of great feedback on our preview pages and we want to be sure we address any legibility concerns) means that the book is larger than anticipated. But this isn't a bad thing! Not only is there a lot more content, but there's more room for commissioned art - the last of which I'll have by the end of the week. The downside is that this growth added time to the preprint phase. We are still on schedule for final book printing this summer but for those who want some more tangible info...
The Critic-
As promised, this dungeon will be released for free within the next two weeks. My intention was to drop it shortly after the campaign ended; however, it was delayed due to final edits. At that time I will also open our late backer store so those who've messaged me about missing us the first time can place their orders. If you're an existing backer looking to add more to your pledge, keep an eye out for that as well.
Miniatures & Dice -
Molds are made and we are in the casting phase now. I'll be doing a full photo update once I have them in hand. While the miniatures will be ready to go, the dice will need to be painted and glossed for full toothy glory. No issues or delays anticipated.
